This will be my first beauty review, I don't really like to wear full coverage makeups actually but since I moved to Taiwan about 3 months ago I feel like my beauty routine as well makeups should be changed. So now I will share my experience of buying makeups in Tainan, Taiwan.

The first time I got here, it was almost the end of winter, my skin got so dull and very dry. I never used moisturizer back in Indonesia, also I never used any foundation. I have 3 items that I bought here to keep my face skin radiant: Chanel Universalle Libre Powder, Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, and Lancome BB Cushion.

So, I did some research about getting rid of dullness and dry skin then I found interesting review about Laneige BB Cushion and Lancome BB Cushion. I went to the stores to try both product and ended up buying Lancome BB Cushion because the Laneige one is very overpriced compared to the price in Indonesia. However, I also found that the color shade from Lancome suits me better. I use BO-01 shade. The shop assistant is really friendly even though she cannot speak English (and I'm totally have no idea to speak Mandarin), she called her friend who can speak English and then gives me a free make over with using the Lancome Blanc Expert BB Cushion with SPF 24. It costs NTD 1,600 ($40) and she gave me the limited edition case. Then she also gives me free skin care samples. The only drawbacks of this cushion is that it is running out quickly. I used it for 3 months right now, and it's running out.

Then, now it's almost summer and Tainan became really hot and I got sweaty a lot. I think the Lancome BB Cushion is not really good to cope the summer because it makes the face become oily quickly due to moisturizer contained in the product. Then I did some research again and found a magic behind Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Many reviewers say it really suits for tropic climate because it is waterproof and it makes your face not oily for a long time (they said 15 hours). So, I just bought this product and looking forward to try it soon. The shop assistant is also really friendly, she can speak English a little bit and she also offered the free make over (I think this marketing strategy is really working to me, haha...). She gave me suggestion about the shade that suits me well and makes me look natural, which is Cool Creme shade. It blends really good in my face. It costs NTD 1,600 the same with Lancome, actually when I compared to Indonesian retail price it's a little bit pricey. But it just too had to resist.

Last but not least, all season favorite setting powder, Chanel Universalle Poudre Liberator. I used this product already since I am in Indonesia. I ran out mine and just bought a new one in here, it costs under Indonesian retail price actually. However, the shop assistant is not really friendly, she forces me to speak Mandarin (which I'm still learning the basic of it), and ended up I didn't get the free makeover and free samples. Well, still it's a really good deal tho. But still, I expected more from the mighty "Chanel" makeup selling services.

For addition, I also found this triangle sponge/make up blender from Shu Uemura in a really good deal which is NTD 179 (about IDR 80,000) contains of 4 sponges.

Basically, my makeup shopping experience in here is quite good, and sometimes you can also found a good deal in multi-brand stores like Sasa or 86Shop.

I'm back again to review two similar sneakers (in my opinion). This time it comes from two different brands but in some way look pretty similar. However, both have beauty in different way. They are Nike Air Rift and a new comer Adidas Stellasport Zilia.

Both are unisex but I think Adidas makes it more intended to women's shoes. In my opinion both are really cute. I owned the Nike Air Rift for almost a year and I just bought the Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia last week (after struggling two months shop hops all around Southern Taiwan Adidas stores, and ended up ordered it directly from friend in Japan). For your information, the shipment from Japan to Taiwan is really quick. It only takes 2-3 working days until the package sent right in front of your door. Well now, let's compare these two cuties.

Materials

Nike Air Rift: Mesh, textile and synthetic upper
Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia: Mesh, textile, synthetic upper, and glow in the dark strap details

Traction

Nike Air Rift: a solid rubber outsole for multi-traction surface

Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia: NON MARKING rubber outsole with flex grooves for natural foot movement

Cushion

Nike Air Rift: classic Air-Sole for lightweight cushioning
Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia: Lightweight cushioning midsole

Fit

Nike Air Rift: runs smaller or true to size

Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia: true to size or runs bigger

Overall
After comparing both shoes, in terms of usage both are really practical than other training sneakers. However, Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia shoes is more flexible, comfortable and lighter than Air Rift. Therefore, I will give Nike Air Rift 7/10 and Adidas x Stella McCartney Zilia 9/10. This is also because Air Rift is slightly bulkier, which is kind of problem for a petite girl like me.

I will post my #ootd photos soon with these cute sneakers. Thanks for reading, I hope this review might help you guys in decision of buying these sneakers. And as for the price they are also not really expensive, Nike Air Rift for USD100 and EUR90 for Adidas Zilia. I think it is really worth it to buy these shoes.

XOXO,
Khara

Hi everyone, it's been a very long time for me not posting reviews or even blog posts. I moved to Taiwan two months ago and here I transport myself mostly by walking, that is why I turned out to be a sneakerhead lately. Well based on my experience the sneakers help me to go through the Winter and now with the Spring comfortably.

Today I will review two sneakers from Nike with their famous technology of flyknits, Nike Flyknit Racer in Oreo Volt and Nike Flyknit Zoom Agility in Oreo.

I bought the Nike Flyknit Zoom Agility last year and the Nike Flyknit Racer just two months ago. I've been searching for the Nike Flyknit Racer in the ordinary Oreo color since 2 years ago but it's very difficult and the reseller price is just too expensive. Well, turns out I just found the Oreo Volt with the retail price just now! Actually I bought the Nike Zoom Agility because it's similar to Racer. However, even though these two shoes are similar, they are pretty much different.

Materials
Both shoes have high quality lightweight Flyknit which hug your foot just like socks

Traction
Flyknit RacerWaffleskin rubber outsole with racing-specific diamond pattern for lightweight durability and traction
Flyknit Zoom Agility: Herringbone pattern on the pods for multi-directional traction

Cushion
Flyknit RacerForefoot Nike Zoom Air unit and full-length Phylon midsole for lightweight, responsive cushioning
Flyknit Zoom Agility: Molded OrthoLite ® sockliner for extra cushioning and comfort

Fit
Flyknit Racer: true to size or upsize
Flyknit Zoom Agility: true to size or upsize

Overall
I love both shoes in different way, Flyknit Racer for its lightness (comfy for running and lifestyle) and Flyknit Zoom Agility for its flexibility (especially for Pilates and other gymnastic activities).
To sum up, I will give Flyknit Racer 9/10 and Flyknit Zoom Agility 8/10.

Besides for the comfort, both shoes can also be your fashion items. Following are few of my #ootd with these sneakers.

Hope you guys enjoy my review. Lately, I am thinking to buy Adidas Pure Boost ZG or Adidas NMD, I've tried them already at store and also fall in love with those shoes.

XOXO,
Khara
