Hello everyone, I am so excited to write this bag review!
It seems that many of you interested more in Japanese designer bag review. So, now I will review my current favorite bag, Pleats Please by Issey Miyake "Bias" Bag which I just bought in Japan last week. I am such a big fan of his design from the moment Baobao Bag was released, it is my all time favorite bag as well.

My Bias Bag in Small Grey/Black Color
I went to Tokyo last week, and enjoyed the shopping experience a lot. I must say, all of the Shopping Assistants in every stores are really friendly, polite and helpful. Even sometimes they also help with some outfit styling, I experienced the styling in Coach and Gucci store. They brought some items to style the customers, which leads me to buy Coach trench coat and also craving for Gucci Princetown Slipper (oh you d*mn marketing strategy! haha). I went crazy buying a lot of good bargain goods, one of them is the Bias Bag.

Bottom Part

Handle made of leather

YKK zipper
It was in my wishlist since last year and my eyes was sparkling when I saw the sale price tag. I bought it for around USD400, which is half of the retail price in few countries I suppose (when I check in Taiwan it costs around USD800). The material are made of the signature pleats cloths for the body, canvas for the bottom part and leather for the handle. They use YKK zipper just like other contemporary designers like Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang and Givenchy. The design is in dome-like shaped but not rigid.

The Bias Bag comes in three sizes, Small, Medium and Large. Mine is the small one, it comes with the crossbody strap. Meanwhile the medium and large size are more like shoulder bag model with no long strap. Since I'm petite (only 5ft tall) I prefer small bags.

Inside of the bag
Surprisingly, even though it's small it could load so many things. I could put my long wallet, phone, A5 size book, makeup pallet, passport, 500ml water bottle and many more (it's huge, trust me hahaha). There's also zipper pocket inside where you can put your phone or small stuffs, and additional front pocket. Moreover, the long strap is adjustable and removable which is very convenient. You probably could use the Fendi You Strap for the spare 😍

However, the drawback of this bag is the maintenance, it is made of cloths which are more likely easy to be dirty. There will be some bag care needed to maintain the bag looks, but you will still love it anyway. I haven't take proper #ootd picture with this bag, but I will attach it later.

That's all my review for Pleats Please by Issey Miyake Bias Bag, hope it can help some of you who consider to buy this beautiful bag.

XOXO,
Khara
